 SHIPPED SEMEN CONTRACT

There will be one contract for each mare. Return original along with photocopy of mare's papers. Semen will not be shipped without a photocopy front and back of papers, a recent negative uterine culture (Saves Mare Owner time and money), a signed contract and all fees and deposits listed below.

1. A stud fee of $1200.00 including booking/handling fee is payable prior to shipment of semen. 1000.00 for live cover on the ranch plus 10.00 pr day for mare care. Although  our facilities are excellent accidents can happen and Haugen ranch assumes no responsibility for injured incurred to outside mares or their foals.

2. This  fee includes 1st of shipment there after the mare owner will pay 250.00 per shipment

3. The container must be returned
via priority and received within 3 days of shipping it to mare owner. Late returns will
be charged a late fee of $25 per day. Unless a disposable container is preferred by mare owner.

4. Haugen Ranch (HAUGEN RANCH) guarantees to ship semen with a concentration level adequate to inseminate one mare. A licensed veterinarian must inseminate the mare. The semen must be used only for the designated mare.

5. HAUGEN RANCH agrees to ship to the same mare through a total of three heat cycles. Mare Owner will be responsible for all shipping fees, collection fees and Equitainer deposits after the 1st shipment. If after three cycles, the mare does not conceive, the mare must come to Haugen Ranch to be bred in the current year. You will be allowed to rebreed the following breeding season only at Haugen Ranch.

6. Live Foal Guarantee: "Live Foal" means being able to stand and nurse for at least twenty-four (24) hours after birth.

7. Mare Owner is required to give 3 vaccinations of Pneumabort-K to pregnant mare during 5th, 7th, and 9th month of gestation. Mare Owner is encouraged to prevent mare's ingestion of fescue grass or hay for at least 3 months prior to expected delivery date of foal.

8. In the event that said mare does not deliver a live foal, HAUGEN RANCH agrees to give Mare Owner an additional service to said mare during the following breeding season  HAUGEN RANCH shall have no further liability hereunder for servicing said mare.

9. Mare owner must notify HAUGEN RANCH when mare has been checked for
pregnancy. HAUGEN RANCH requires an ultrasound examination at 24-35 days to
ensure your live foal guarantee.

10. Stallion Service Certificates will be issued when foal stands and nurses and all fees and bills have been paid in full. The payment of all fees and bills and a live foal are the conditions precedent for the issuance of such certificates.
