Crystal Soleil or 'Bubbles' as we call her.
She is a past NHSRA qualifier in both poles and barrels. We have decided to add this beautiful talented mare to our broodmare band.
Bubbles has been bred to Takin on Shawne for a 2009 foal.

Concho Special "Solo"
Solo is bred to Takin On Shawne for 2008. Solo was born and raised on Haugen Ranch. This nice young mare is a great ranch horse, Solo has a good sensible mind, is gentle, handy on the ranch for any job you need her to do, bred right, conformationally correct...and lastly she is beautiful! All the things we want in our broodmares.

Special Toy "Dollie" Owned and trained by Tess Haugen
Dollie is a solid 1D 2D barrel horse, she has a LTE of over 4000.00 in rodeo earnings with a young rider.
Tess and Dollie are State Champion Novice Barrel Racers in the Rough Rider Rodeo Association in 2003. Not only is Dollie a title-winning rodeo horse, she is an excellent ranch horse.
Dollie was gifted to Tess from some very dear family friends and she will have a home with Haugen Ranch forever.
Dollie will be bred to Takin On Shawne for 2009

Easy Merry Doll 3712040 1998 sorrel mare

Merry is a consistent great producer for our program. She is an own daughter of Merridoc and her pedigree speaks for itself. Merry is a big, deep bodied mare that produces big correct, quiet colts. She has a gray stud colt at side by Takin On Shawne and is bred back the same way for 2008

Streakin Lindsey Doc 3770899 1998 brown mare

"Lindsey" is the newest member to our family. She is just the perfect built cow horse with a royal running pedigree. Lindsey stands right at a scant 15 hands with excellent conformation and heavy muscle. Streakin Lindsey Doc is an own daughter of Merridoc with an equally impressive bottom side out of RD Streakin Annie by Streakin Dash. Lindsey is super fun to ride and has an excellent mind, she is as athletic and kind as you could ask for. We've really enjoyed using her on the ranch. We are hoping Lindsey will pass all her goodness on to her foals.

"Truckles" Bee Rit Zee 3784814 1999 chestnut mare
Truckles is a nice young mare with a long productive broodmare career
ahead of her. She is broke and jewel to handle, she shows extreme cow
sense on the ranch. Her disposition is top of the line. She will put good
bone and temperament into her foals. With her easy going attitude crossed
with the running lines should produce a top notch horse that will get things
done in a hurry. Truckles has been bred to Takin On Shawne for 2008.

Sheba Jones 3368890 1995 brown mare - "Sheba"

This is the broodmare band queen, Sheba. We sold down a lot of our broodmares
spring of 2002 as we are adding more speed lines and kept some of the old
favorites and young hopefuls. Sheba made the cut. She is Les's favorite mare on the place. Sheba is a massive mare with excellent foundation. Her foals are absolutely beautiful. Sheba is registered brown but she is coal black and passes her good looks onto her babies. Sheba is fine to handle but has strictly been a range mare on our ranch all her life. Sheba is not an "in your pocket" type of horse. Her foals have looks, substance and great disposition. Sheba stands 15.2 at 1300 lbs. Sheba's old time AQHA bloodlines have produced some top ranch and arena horses. Sheba has been bred to Takin On Shawne for 2008.

Pixie Pep Bars "Lil" is well broke but was hurt during training so we retired her to the broodmare band
earlier than we would have liked. Lil stands 15.1 at 1150 lbs, she is very gentle.

Lil has a very nice performance pedigree. We have owned Lil since she was yearling
Pixie Pep Bars "Lil" is in foal to Takin On Shawne for 2008.

Ignite Mac Bar 2522602 1986 bay mare - "Sadie"

What can we say about this mare but AWESOME!
Sadie is that once in a lifetime mare the kids will tell their kids about.
This good looking athletic little power house has won money and buckles in
barrel racing, pole bending, calf roping, heeling, break away roping and to
top it off, you can gather the whole herd in with her. She is a very
tough horse and master of many trades. Sadie has had one foal the only
time we bred her and he is 5 and is looking to be just as good as
his Momma. We permanently retired Sadie to the broodmare band
in 2003 and she was bred to Takin On Shawne for 2008.
